US rescues ISIS ‘officials’ in Syria

The US evacuated the ISIS (banned in Russia) militants from the Syrian province Deir-ez-Zor, the media report with a reference to the local sources.

It is reported that the coalition carried out an assault near the village of al-Murashida, where the ISIS forces are concentrated, and ‘took away’ the group’s officials in an unknown direction.

The US and its allies have been conducting an operation against ISIS in Iraq and Syria since 2014. They are operating in Syria without a consent of the official Damascus, RIA Novosti reminds.
