US restores oil exports after 40-year hiatus

The United States has carried out its first shipment of oil abroad after cancellation of a 40-year-embargo.

According to Bloomberg, the US tanker Theo T is on its way from the port of Corpus Christi with a batch of ConocoPhillips’ oil for the Swiss trading group Vitol, Gazeta.ru reports.
