The US anti-Russian sanctions do practically no harm to the Russian Federation, the Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexander Pankin said.
According to the diplomat, the sanctions have different goals: coercion, punishment or intimidation and the creation of toxicity. “It’s not happening. We can not say that they cause significant harm or achieve the stated goals,” the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister underlined.
At the same time, Pankin noted, it is impossible to say that the US sanctions do not affect the Russian Federation at all, RIA Novosti reports.
