US armored fighting vehicles are moving from Georgia’s western regions to Tbilisi to take part in Noble Partner 2017 exercises, Georgia's channel One reported.
The motorcade of vehicles started from Senaki in the western region of Georgia, and on their way to Tbilisi stopped in Kutaisi, the second largest city of Georgia in the country’s west, and in the eastern Khashuri area.
About 2,800 soldiers from the United States, Britain, Germany, Turkey, Ukraine, Slovenia, Armenia and Georgia were taking part in the maneuvers, with Washington dispatching an entire mechanized company including several Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, Stryker armoured fighting vehicles and M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks.
The Noble Partner exercises are being held in Georgia for the third time. The exercises kicked off at the Vaziani military base near Georgia's capital, Tbilisi yesterday.The Noble Partner exercises will run in Georgia until August 12.
