Today the official White House representative Josh Ernest stated that the number of Daesh militants has fallen by more than 5000 people.
"According to the latest intelligence data, the number militants in Iraq and Syria has dropped from 31,500 to 25,000 people. It means that they remain a threat, but their number is being reduced," RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
