The US State Department announced that it will toughen sanctions against Iran for expanding the Bushehr nuclear power plant. The relevant statement is published on the State Department website.
"Starting from May 4, the assistance in expanding the Iranian nuclear power plant Bushehr beyond the existing reactor block could lead to sanctions," the diplomatic agency said, adding that sanctions can be also imposed for exporting enriched uranium from Iran in exchange for natural uranium.
