The US plans to expand sanctions against Russia. This was stated today by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Douglas Jones.
"We will continue to put economic pressure on Russia", TASS quoted him.
Jones also noted that the United States intends to tighten control over the compliance with sanctions against Russia by other countries.
