Heavy rain on June 14 caused flooding of River Vere in Tbilisi. Over a hundred private residences, some subways and squares, roads, power lines and gas pipelines were flooded. Dozens of families lost homes. 8 people have been missing in the biggest flood of the last 55 years in Georgia.
