The United States is not going to subsequently return Western-sanctioned assets to major Russian businessmen. This statement was made today by Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Jake Sullivan.
"Our goal is not to return them. Our goal is to make better use of them", TASS quoted the adviser to the head of the White House.
This includes expensive yachts seized earlier due to sanctions.
