USA predicts Russia's rapid economic growth

According to the American newspaper The Epoch Times' article, written by economist Patricia Adams and columnist Lawrence Solomon, the sanctions imposed on Russia have harmed Western countries more than Moscow.

According to them, the sanctions have led to high inflation in the West, energy shortages and recession. At the same time, they said that Russia not only managed to survive them, but also to become better.

Experts called anti-Russian sanctions "the greatest miscalculation of the West in modern history". Referring to the IMF data, Adams and Solomon predicted rapid growth for the Russian economy.

"In 2024, it will grow faster than the economies of the USA, Canada, Australia, France and the majority of Western countries' economies, and will reach the lowest debt-to-GDP ratio among the G20 countries", they write.

In conclusion, the authors added that China and Brazil accelerated cooperation with Russia against the backdrop of the West's attempt to "cancel Russia" by imposing sanctions against it. But, according to them, such a move had the opposite effect.
