The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is carrying out an analysis of Russia's possible response to the introduction of visas for Russian citizens traveling to the country, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also noted that he considered a visa regime to be an indication of relations "between civilized countries." "We are currently analyzing it and will then come out with a proposal on how we are going to do it and the time frame," Klimkin told TV channel 1+1, recalling that several million Ukrainians live in Russia.
On October 3, the speaker of Ukraine's parliament Andriy Parubiy said that he wanted to renew debate on the visa regime introduction with Russia, Sputnik recalls.
