Ukraine has no need for Russian electricity supplies

Ukraine is not experiencing any power shortages and does not need electricity supplies from Russia, Ukrainian Energy Minister Igor Nasalyk said Monday, Sputnik reports.

"We have not minus 2,000 megawatts, as predicted at the beginning of the summer period, but a surplus of 2,200…and we do not need annual support from Russia," Nasalyk wrote on his Facebook page.
