Ukraine intends to impose sanctions against museums in Crimea

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine announced its intention to impose sanctions against the leadership and employees of museums in Crimea, involved in ‘the illegal movement of the cultural values across the border.’

"The use of museum items of the state part of the Museum Fund of Ukraine, stored in the museums of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, for exhibiting at the exhibition projects outside Ukraine is illegal," the department reported.
