Ukraine introduces sanctions against Russian majors

Ukraine’s president Pyotr Poroshenko approved an updated list of sanctions against Russia, including restrictions against Russian majors. Such information is contained in the presidential decree posted on the website of the presidential administration, TASS reports.

According to the document, restrictions are introduced against Russian majors. In particular, sanctions were extended against Volga Group investment company, Strointransgaz construction company, Power Machines, and others. Sanctions are introduced for the term of three years.

Ukraine also imposed sanctions on 294 legal entities and 848 individuals who took part in the construction of Crimean Bridge and in holding elections in Donbass republics. Furthermore, sanctions were renewed against Russian publishers and services. Individuals that visited Crimea were also blacklisted.
