The head of Naftogaz Ukraine Andrey Kobolev has said today that the company had received $ 500 million from the international financial institutions in order to purchase Russian gas.
According to him, the funds are on a special account of the state bank. "There they are reserved in order to purchase gas from Gazprom,’’ Gazeta.ru cites the head of the company.
Kobolev also noted that Ukraine will spend these funds gradually, as it was a year ago.
