The Russian side may recall its ambassador from Turkey, the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, the representative of the executive body of the Republic of Dagestan, Ilyas Umakhanov, said.
"l think that this proposal is being considered at the Foreign Ministry, although it means suspension of diplomatic relations, so it is an extreme measure," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
"It’s necessary to hold consultations, depending upon further developments," he said.
