The administration of the United Nations Commission for Human Rights (OHCHR) hasn’t supported the idea of Hungary building a fence on its border with Serbia in order not to let migrants from the East onto its territory.
"We recognize the right of every country to protect its borders with the help of tools and techniques if necessary," the spokesman for the organization Erno Simon said.
According to him, countries should not make barriers for people who are escaping from war and hoping to find shelter in a foreign land, RIA Novosti reports.
