Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Oleg Khramov said that the United States is closing the communication channel with Russia on cybersecurity unilaterally.
According to him, in February of this year, Russia sent the United States proposals to begin developing joint measures to protect against hacker attacks on critical infrastructure facilities of both states after the suppression of the activities of the REvil hacker group. The parties had previously exchanged lists of objects of critical information infrastructure of Russia and the United States.
"However, now the White House has notified us that it is unilaterally withdrawing from the negotiation process and closing the communication channel", TASS quoted Khramov.
