The Georgian Military Highway is open to all types of transport. Previously, the trucks were prohibited from passing the road.
The head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of North Ossetia informed that movement along the Georgian Military Highway is free for all types of transport in both directions. Previously, traffic was closed to trucks due to adverse weather conditions.
“The movement of all types of vehicles is allowed on the Vladikavkaz-Lars section in both directions from 13:00 Moscow time on April 1, 2023 until further notice,”

Recall that the Georgian Military Highway is now the only land route that connects Georgia and the Russian Federation.
