Russian President Vladimir Putin's first meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump will take place July 7 in Germany, Putin's foreign affairs adviser, Yuri Ushakov, said.
Ushakov said that the two leaders will meet on the sidelines of the G-20 summit being held in Hamburg. He wouldn't give any further details, ABC news reported.
The adviser has previously said the two would likely discuss the fight against terrorism, the war in Syria and the crisis in Ukraine.
"I think it is quite logical to discuss these two issues, but we think that the problem of international terrorism should be discussed first between the two leaders of the leading powers, since without the cooperation of Russia and the United States the problem is unlikely to be overcome," he stressed.
