Uzbekistan's Ministry of Culture and Sports has been reorganized into two separate bodies: the Ministry of Culture and the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports by a decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed on February 15.
The decree envisages creation of the non-budgetary fund on development of culture and art. The funds will be allocated from the state duty's funds received from the licenses issued for the right to hold concert activities.
The State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports will maintain the executive office of the Children's Sports Development Fund, sports schools and boarding schools and other centers, AKIpress reported.
