Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a visit to Russia on April 4-5 at the invitation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin press service reported on Monday.
"It is expected that during the top-level talks on April 5 the two sides will discuss the key bilateral issues and outline steps aimed at further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and scientific areas," the press service said.
The Presidents will also exchange views on a number of pressing international and regional problems.
A package of intergovernmental, inter-agency and commercial documents are to be signed after the visit.
