Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the US President Donald Trump, who during the meeting highly appreciated the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan.
Mirziyoyev also held a short dialogue with the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, as well as the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Turkish Foreign Minister.
The presidents discussed further prospects for cooperation during these meetings.
Uzbek President at the invitation of King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud took part in the Arab Islamic American Summit held in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh, the Uzbek presidential press service reported.
Attention of the summit participants was drawn to the prevention of threats to peace, preservation of national and religious values and culture of all countries, Sputnik Uzbekistan reported.
