During a recent visit of Uzbekistan's Minister of Innovation Development Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov to Russia's Skolkovo Innovation Center, the parties agreed to organize a joint Russian-Uzbek competition of startup projects next year.
A range of issues was also discussed regarding the free participation of Uzbek start-up companies in Skolkovo's Softlanding program.
The best projects will be combined into joint projects, for which co-financing is provided, Trend reported.
The Russian side also offered to organize targeted training courses for 25 Uzbek start-up companies at the beginning of next year.
As agreed, every year, 100 young Uzbek scientists will be sent to research institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences for short-term internships.
