Ashgabat will host the 6th Caspian summit on June 29, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on Wednesday.
The sixth Caspian summit was originally supposed to take place in 2021, then it was postponed to 2022. Representatives of Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Iran are expected to take part in the summit.
The Fifth Caspian Summit was held in 2018 in Aktau in Kazakhstan.
