Armenia's government plan to reconstruct Vanadzor, the country's third biggest city, under support from the head of Tashir Group Samvel Karapetyan and his brother, Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan.
One of the central streets will become a so-called old street, as in Tbilisi. A part of financing will be borne by Samvel Karapetyan. The brothers are now in negotiation over construction of Marriott and Hyatt hotels in the city.
It has also become known that Karen Karapetyan has managed to persuade a member of the National Assembly Vahan Harutyunyan to build an aerial tramway here, ARKA reported.
According to the media, the brothers also intend to build Disneyland in the city.
