Despite the fact that soon after beginning of repair works at the Georgian Military Road in July Georgian sources stated that road links with Russia will work normally by the end of August, even now the dates when it will finally happen are uncertain, the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and the press service of EMERCOM in North Ossetia informed Vestnik Kavkaza.
Georgian Ministry could not name an exact date, and only expressed hope that it "will happen in a month." Until then, Georgian side of the road will operate from 05:30 to 20:00 Tbilisi time.
North Ossetian department drew attention to the absence of any positive information from Tbilisi. "We are waiting for information from the Georgian side, but they are silent, they don't say anything," the press service reported.
