The Sunni mosque in Vladikavkaz has held the Quran-reading contest among men. 25 people took part in the contest.
The organizers noted that this year the conditions of the competition have been complicated. Three winners received tablet computers, watches and a three-volume collection of Qur'anic Commentary in Russian.
Now readers are planning to take part in the inter-regional competition, which will take place in Pyatigorsk in February, Yuga.ru reports.
