Famous Russian director, head of the directing department at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography, Vladimir Khotinenko, said that he's really looking forward to his trip to Baku in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
“I hope I'll be in Baku in a couple of weeks. We’re celebrating our Institute's 100th anniversary, and we're going to visit our graduates. Me and my wife will depart for Baku on April 8, and I really look forward to it. I have never been there and I dream of visiting this wonderful city," he said.
“I have a lot of acquaintances and students from Baku. When I studied at the Advanced Courses of Directors and Scriptwriters, I studied together with people from Baku. So I'm really looking forward to visiting to the capital of Azerbaijan for this five-day business trip,” Vladimir Khotinenko said.
He also spoke about harmonization of interethnic relations. “Peace and harmony must be maintained, and this requires, above all, patience. Patience is the key to everything," he noted.
