Vladimir Putin awards Order of Friendship to Mehriban Aliyeva

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Friendship to the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, First Lady of the Republic, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.

She was awarded "for her services in developing and strengthening Russian-Azerbaijani relations," the Russian President's decree, published today on the official Internet portal of legal information, reads.
