Vladimir Putin congratulates Ilham Aliyev on his birthday

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of his birthday.

He said that under the leadership of Ilham Aliyev "Azerbaijan is confidently moving along the path of social and economic development, plays an active role in addressing important issues of the regional and international agenda."

The Russian president stressed that Ilham Aliyev as a true friend of Russia is making "a great personal contribution to the strengthening of mutually beneficial Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation in various fields." 

"I sincerely wish you good health, happiness, prosperity, success and all the best to you and your family," the head of Russia said.
