Today Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the leadership of the Defense Ministry, which discussed the progress of the operation in Syria.
During the meeting the head of state listened to reports of military representatives via videoconference.
Putin praised the actions of the Armed Forces in Syria. "The tasks are being executed, and executed well," he said, thanking the military for their work, Interfax reports.
