Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, Mohammed Al Nahyan, tomorrow.
Discussion of topical issues of Russian-UAE relations is planned in the course of the meeting. It is expected the progress in implementation of earlier reached agreements will be discussed, primarily in the trade and economic and investment spheres, and specific milestones will be outlined for further buildup of the whole package of bilateral cooperation, the Kremlin press service said.
In addition, a full-scale exchange of opinions on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa is expected. "Special attention is likely to be paid to the political settlement in Syria in the context of implementation of Russia-US ceasefire agreements and the decision made by the Russian head of state on withdrawal of the main part of the military contingent from that country," the report says.
