Vladimir Yumin dies

Champion of the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal in freestyle wrestling, a four-time World champion and three-time European champion, the World Cup winner and four-time champion of the USSR Vladimir Yumin died yesterday. The 65-year-old wrestler died in Kaspiysk.

As the head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdullatipov stressed, all the fights of Vladimir Yumin were beautiful and entertaining. " He will remain in our memory as a talented athlete, a good man and dedicated professional,"  Abdullatipov said.
