Vladimir Vladimirov, the governor of Stavropol Territory, where the largest Russian diasporas of Azerbaijanis and Armenians live, has called for the preservation of peace between these nations in connection with the aggravation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"Representatives of many nations and a lot of different nationalities live in Stavropol Territory. We have always valued and cherished our friendship, mutual respect, peace and harmony in our common home region. I believe that each of you will do all their best to preserve this situation in order prevent further external threats from affecting the life of Stavropol," RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
