According to the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections, it was decided to extend the voting period in Syria where the parliamentary elections take place today.
Now polling stations of the country are to be closed at midnight, not at 07:00 PM as it was planned earlier.
This decision was made due to the high activity of voters, Interfax reports.
