Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said at the UN General Assembly in Syria that the Syrian war against terrorists will soon be over.
"The war is coming to an end, and the situation in the country is becoming safer. Our people have stood up in the war against terrorists and are now determined to fulfill the task of the post-war reconstruction of Syria, "Muallem said.
He also noted that the proposal by Russia and Turkey to establish a demilitarized zone in the province of Idlib was agreed with Damascus before it was announced.
