The United States failed to present any evidence of presence of the chemical weapons after a shelling of the Syrian air base Shayrat, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Major-General Igor Konashenkov said.
He recalled that dozens of journalists, representatives of the local administration, firemen and policemen visited the airport, not mentioning the Syrian military personnel. None of them found a ‘storage’ with the chemical weapon ammunition at the Shayrat air base.
