United States intends to continue to have a dialogue with Russia on Iran and North Korea, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said
"We want to continue to have a dialogue with Russia, and continue to talk about some of the shared interests we have, whether it’s North Korea, Iran, and, particularly as the President noted today, slowing the tensions when it comes to an arms race, something that is clearly important to both leaders," she told reporters
The secretary stressed that the US administration is disagreeing with the fact that we shouldn’t have conversations with Russia. "There are important topics that we should be able to discuss. And that is why the President is going to continue to have that dialogue," the White House press service cited her as saying.
At the same time Sander said that there are no specific plans for talks between the leaders of the US and Russia made at this time.
