The Western Union money transfer system is suspending operations in Russia, the company said in a statement.
"In light of the ongoing tragic events around the situation in Russia and Ukraine, we have decided to suspend our activities in Russia and Belarus", Western Union informs.
Earlier, the electronic payment system PayPal announced the suspension of services in Russia.
