Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, the presidential press service reported.
The leaders discussed the expansion of ties between the two countries, as well as cooperation in defense, military industry, and other fields.
The heads of state emphasized the importance of the joint activities carried out by the two countries regarding the development of the Middle Corridor. The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional and international issues.
Erdogan confirmed his participation in the informal Shusha Summit in July.
The Azerbaijani President, in turn, invited the Turkish leader to COP29, which will be held in Baku in November.
