White House: 180 Americans attempt to join Islamic State

At least 180 Americans have attempted to join the Islamic State terrorist organization, the US administration said in a conference call with reporters.

"According to Washington, the number of foreign fighters in Islamic State is between 20,000 and 30,000," TASS cited the US Deputy National Security Adviser, Ben Rhodes, as saying.
