The White House rejected reports that U.S. President Donald Trump's daughter and adviser Ivanka Trump is a possible candidate for the position of World Bank Group president.
White House Deputy Director of Communications Jessica Ditto said that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney "have asked Ivanka Trump to help manage the U.S. nomination process as she’s worked closely with the World Bank’s leadership for the past two years," Reuters reported.
"Reports that she is under consideration are false," Ditto stressed.
