An informal meeting between US President Barack Obama and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan will take place during the visit of the latter to Washington, press secretary of the White House Josh Ernest announced.
It is reported earlier that Erdogan is paying a visit to the US to attend the Nuclear Security Summit. He will stay in America until April 2nd. The head of Turkey is going to discuss, "the terrorist attacks in Paris, Istanbul, Ankara and Brussels at bilateral meetings, nuclear security issues and exchange his views on regional themes," Tass recalls.
At the same time, the US media reported that Obama refused to have a personal meeting with Erdogan.
