The US administration regrets any death caused by the ongoing Syrian conflict, the White House Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz said following the downing of the Russian Aerospace Forces’ Mi-8 transport helicopter.
"We regret for any loss of life in association with this conflict," Sputnik cited Schultz as saying.
On August 1, the transport helicopter with three crew members and two reconciliation center officers was shot down in the northwestern province of Idlib while returning from a humanitarian mission in Aleppo.
