Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei said that the republic is ready to deploy nuclear weapons in the event of a threat from NATO.
The Minister noted that the Alliance has significantly approached the borders of Belarus, while the military activity of the bloc and the number of its military has grown significantly.
"What the President [of Belarus Alexander] Lukashenko said about our consideration of the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus is one of the possible responses to future possible actions by the North Atlantic Alliance on the territory of Poland," he said in interview with RT Arabic.
