This week, the topic of possible rearrangements in the Russian government has seriously excited local and Western experts. While some collected signatures to dismiss Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, others tried to forecast personnel changes before or after the elections to the State Duma. Yet others claimed that President Vladimir Putin has launched a large-scale reorganizational cycle ahead of the presidential elections in 2018.
Director of the Institute for Applied Political Studies Gregory Dobromelov is sure that after September the Cabinet will be significantly changed, but the first to be reorganized will be the social block, as the current team does not have a lobbying resource to understand the key issues.

The expert predicts that the Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs Olga Golodets will be dismissed to improve the Ministry. Minister of Labour Maksim Topilin probably will also be dismissed.
"Despite the fact that I do not have many issues with the Minister of Health, Veronika Skvortsova will most likely lose her postition. It is hard to say anything about Education Minister [Dmitry Livanov] he will probably keep his job,’’ Dobromelov believes.
