Winners in team standings, all-around group exercises of FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup awarded in Baku

Winners and prize winners in the finals of team standings (according to the overall results of adult gymnasts and juniors participating in the group exercise program) and in the all-around group exercises in FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup have been awarded at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Trend reports on May 18.

Russia ranked first (216.225 points), Belarus ranked second (206.000 points), Bulgaria ranked third (202.075 points) in the team standings.

The awards were presented by President of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) Farid Gayibov, President of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee Maria Petrova and head coach of the Azerbaijani national rhythmic gymnastics team Mariana Vasileva.

In the all-around group exercises (with five hoops and five ribbons) Russian team ranked first (44.925 points), Belarusian team (42.050 points) ranked second and Italian team (41.350 points) ranked third.

The medals were presented by vice president of the UEG Rudi Hediger, representative of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) Marian Lobach and Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation Nurlana Mammadzade.

The 35th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships will last until May 19. During the four-day championships, senior female gymnasts will perform in the individual program, while junior gymnasts will participate in the group exercise program. Athletes from 35 countries are taking part in the championships.
