Winners of group all-around competitions determined at Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku

Following the results of the qualifying performances, the Japanese gymnasts won the gold medal in the group all-around competition by scoring 24.9 points for exercises with five balls and 24.35 points for exercises with three hoops and two pairs of clubs. The total score of the Japanese team is 49.25 points.

Russian gymnasts won the silver medal with the score of 48.95 points on the sum of two performances ( exercises with balls - 26.05 points, exercises with hoops and clubs- 22.9 points).

The athletes from Bulgaria won the bronze medal by scoring 48.85 points (exercises with balls - 23.55 points, exercises with hoops and clubs- 25.3 points).

The Bulgarian team was awarded with an specially established prize of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation AGF Trophy for the highest score. The FIG Cup, based on three best results demonstrated at the four stages of the World Cup this year, was awarded to the Russian team.

More than 200 gymnasts from 39 countries are competing at the World Cup. During the event, 25 teams will compete in group exercises and more than 70 gymnasts will perform in individual programs.
