A woman who threw an umbrella at Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan may become a defendant in a criminal case, the press secretary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia said.
According to Gor Abrahamyan, the department is discussing the possibility of the case's initiation, Sputnik Armenia reports. The materials on the fact of the incident were previously sent to the Investigative Committee by the police.
At the same time, the representative of the department did not confirm the information that the suspect was allegedly delivered to law enforcement officers.
Incident with an umbrella
The incident occurred during Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Vayots Dzor province. The woman threw an umbrella in the direction of the politician. The guards took her away after it. Any other details are not reported.
